Across both fully polished faces, a soft background of warm cream and pale sage is washed through with gentle tones of dusty rose and mauve that drift across the surface like light through morning mist. Over this subtle, painterly ground, thousands of fine black dendritic inclusions spread and branch in flowing vertical formations, evoking tall grasses, winter trees and rain falling across an open landscape.
The dendritic patterning on this disc has an unusually graceful, almost calligraphic quality, the inclusions flowing in long sweeping lines rather than the denser, more clustered formations seen in darker Picture Jasper pieces. Bold black veining cuts across the upper portion of both faces, adding structure and contrast to the otherwise soft and hazy composition. Faint warm amber tones emerge at the lower edge, adding a subtle depth to what is otherwise a remarkably refined and understated palette.
