A striking Infinite Stone slab displaying one of the most naturally evocative compositions found in this combination mineral. Across both fully polished faces, flowing bands of soft sage green, pale celadon and deep forest green surge and roll across the surface in a composition that reads with remarkable conviction as a rough sea in motion, broad sweeping waves building and breaking across the slab with genuine energy and movement.
A bold band of soft white and pale green curves through the middle of both faces like breaking foam or the crest of a wave catching the light, its organic flowing form capturing the precise moment of a wave at its peak before it falls. The deep forest green and charcoal tones that dominate the lower portions evoke the dark, churning body of water beneath, while the lighter sage and celadon of the upper zones suggest the spray and mist above the wave line.
Thousands of fine black tourmaline needles scatter throughout the green serpentine ground at varying densities, falling diagonally across the surface like driving rain over a stormy sea, adding extraordinary texture and a powerful sense of weather and atmosphere to the composition. The straight cut edges give the piece a refined, gallery-ready presentation while the irregular natural base retains an authentic character.
