A beautiful raw amethyst cluster of excellent quality, presenting a bold arrangement of well-formed crystal points in a rich, saturated deep violet. The individual crystals are generously proportioned with broad, clearly defined facets that catch the light with a glassy brilliance, the colour ranging from intense near-indigo in the deepest zones to vivid bright purple where light passes through the terminations.
The cluster has a wonderfully open, natural form with points rising at different angles to create a dynamic three-dimensional composition. A generous transition zone of lighter lavender and clear quartz crystal growth surrounds the base of the deeper violet points, adding beautiful contrast and authenticity to the piece and showing the full natural development of the crystal growth from matrix to termination.
